Refunds and Cancellations
Purchase Policy
When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.
The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.
Refund and Returns Policy
For any undamaged product, simply return it with its included accessories and packaging along with the original receipt within 14 days of the date you receive the product, and we will exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method.
Any requests for a refund or to cancel a purchase should be sent to htg37714@gmail.com in the first instance. All requests will be dealt with within 48 hours.
The Heavy Tractor Group reserves the right to apply reasonable charges to any Customer who returns or cancels an order within 14 days where the Customer has damaged the product or packaging.
All completed purchases will be dispatched within 72 hours of the product being received at our office
Model Locomotive Warranties
All Model Locomotives purchased from The Heavy Tractor Group via this website come with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty. Should a Model Locomotive develop a fault or defect, please contact The Heavy Tractor Group in the first instance at htg37714@gmail.com and we will arrange for the model to be repaired.
Customers are responsible for any and all postage costs related to the shipment of a Model Locomotive for warranty repair. Return postage costs to the Customer will be paid by The Heavy Tractor Group.
If The Heavy Tractor Group or the manufacturer are unable to repair the product within a reasonable time the customer will be entitled to a full refund, provided that the product has been returned to us.
Note that faults or defects deemed to be caused by negligence in operation, accidental or malicious damage on the part of the user will not be covered under the warranty.
Your statutory rights will be unaffected.
